AUCTION PROCESS

Every auction on Revcrafted follows a clear, consistent process — from listing submission through final payment release.

How It Works

01 FROM SUBMISSION TO COMPLETION

Review and learn our process from start to finish before you submit your product.

SELLER SUBMISSION

Sellers submit item details and pricing preferences including reserve or Buy It Now options.

REVIEW & APPROVAL

Revcrafted reviews the submission for compliance with listing standards. We contact the seller to confirm details and coordinate a mutually agreed-upon auction start time.

AUCTION GOES LIVE

Registered buyers can view the listing, ask questions, and place bids over the auction window.

BIDDING PERIOD

Bidders are notified when outbid. If a reserve is set, it must be met for the item to sell.

AUCTION CLOSE & INVOICE

When the auction ends, the highest qualifying bid wins. Revcrafted invoices the winning bidder promptly. Payment is due within 48 hours of invoice receipt.

PAYMENT & ESCROW

Revcrafted collects payment from the winning bidder. Funds are held in escrow — the seller does not receive payment until the item is confirmed delivered.

SELLER SHIPS THE ITEM

Upon payment confirmation, the seller has 48 hours to ship using a Revcrafted-provided label (unless otherwise noted for larger objects). A valid, verifiably scanned tracking number must be submitted within this window.

DELIVERY & FUNDS RELEASE

Once tracking confirms delivery to the buyer, funds are released from escrow to the seller. If a dispute arises, it must be handled between the two parties of the transaction. Revcrafted is only a facilitator of service and verification of delivery.

Shipping Label Policy: Revcrafted provides the shipping label to the seller for all completed transactions. The cost of shipping is the responsibility of the seller and will be factored into the net payout. Labels are provided to ensure consistent carrier tracking visibility for both parties. For larger items, shipping is the sole responsibility of the seller.

Formats

02 RESERVE VS. BUY IT NOW

Sellers on Revcrafted may choose from two primary listing structures, or combine both for maximum flexibility.

Reserve Auction: The seller sets a confidential minimum acceptable price. Bidding is open to all registered buyers, but the item will only sell if the reserve is met by auction close. If not met, the seller is under no obligation to accept the highest bid.
Buy It Now: The seller sets a fixed price at which any registered buyer can immediately purchase the item, bypassing the remaining auction window. Once exercised, the auction closes immediately and no further bids are accepted.
Combined Listing: Sellers may list with both a reserve and a Buy It Now price. Bidders may compete through the auction or opt to exercise the Buy It Now at any point before auction close.
Deadlines

03 CRITICAL DEADLINES

48 Hours to Pay: Winning bidders must complete payment within 48 hours of invoice receipt. Failure to do so forfeits the win and results in a permanent ban.
48 Hours to Ship: Sellers must ship the item and submit a valid tracking number within 48 hours of payment confirmation by Revcrafted.
Tracking Confirmed: Funds held in escrow are released to the seller once carrier tracking confirms delivery at the buyer's address.
Pricing

04 9% PLATFORM COMMISSION

Revcrafted charges a 9% commission on the final sale price of every successfully completed auction. This fee is deducted automatically from the seller's gross proceeds before payout is released. It is not charged to the buyer and does not affect the final invoice amount presented to the winning bidder.

The commission covers the full cost of platform operation, listing review, escrow facilitation, shipping label generation, and transaction support. There is no listing fee and no commission is assessed on auctions that do not result in a completed sale.

Commission Rate: 9% of the final hammer price or Buy It Now price is retained by Revcrafted and deducted from the seller's net payout prior to release.
Shipping Cost: In addition to the 9% commission, the cost of the Revcrafted-provided shipping label is also deducted from proceeds at the time of payout unless otherwise noted.
No Sale, No Fee: If an auction closes without a qualifying bid meeting the reserve, or without a completed transaction, no commission or platform fee is charged to the seller.
